Native Plant Discussion
& Plant Dig

Master Gardener Ruth Caputo will lead a conversation about Native plants,
their value, and how our faith leads us to be good stewards of the Earth on Sunday, September 25.
The talk will happen at 10 am in the Chapel.
Then at Noon, Ruth will lead all who are interested onto the church grounds
to dig up some of the native plants at the church to take home to their own yards.
Please bring your own garden tools and containers to take your plants home.
Contact Tonya Boot at if you have any questions.

Disciple II Fast Track
Bible Study

Disciple II Fast Track - Into the Word, Into the World begins Tuesday, September 20 at 6:30 pm. This Bible study consists of two 12-week sessions and will be led by Pastor Barry Petrucci. The fall session will look at Genesis and Exodus, and the spring session will cover Luke and Acts.

We are still deciding if the study will be on Zoom, in-person, or a hybrid of both. When you register, please indicate which you would prefer.

Your registration enrolls you in both 12-week sessions; no need to register again in the spring. There are no pre-requisites to participate in this study - you do not need to have participated in the Disciple I study. You will need a Bible - any translation - and a study guide for each session. Study guides will be available from the church, and will cost approximately $15 each. We will update the cost of the study guides when they arrive in the office.

and accompanying videos for this class -- please click the links to order.
Cost of materials is $30 -- $20 for study guide and $10 for access to the videos.
If cost is a barrier please let the office know.

Soup & Study

You are invited to Soup & Study with Pastor Jess Davenport on Tuesdays from Noon - 1 pm in Room 108. This will be a read and reflect study, where scripture is read together and then we will take time to pause and ask questions and share insight. No pre-reading is required, simply drop in. The focus is on holy conversation and having a group to share in our mutual understandings of how scripture informs our lives. Bring your lunch and your Bible so that we may break bread and share scripture together!

Parents of Young Kids Small Group

Parents of Young Kids is a new small group for - you guessed it - parents of young kids! Parenting is hard but having a community of fellow parents to support you can make it easier. This group is for all those raising kids aged 5 and under. The group will meet Sunday mornings in Room 121, during the 10 am Christian Education hour at the church. This group will determine its own course, whether that be book studies, Bible studies, videos or podcasts, or maybe just time for adult conversation!
We ask that you please register so that we know how many are interested.
