Summer at Chapel Hill

 

Here's a rundown of the summer schedule, now through September 3:

Sunday Worship and Christian Education

  • We have one Sunday worship service at 10 am, through September 3. 
  • Nursery is available for infants and toddlers from 9:45 am - 11:15 am.
  • Children ages 3 - 3rd grade will begin worship in the Sanctuary with their grown-ups. They will be invited up front for a brief Children's Time message near the beginning of the service. After that, kids are invited downstairs to Room 109 for Children in Worship, and will be returned to their grown-ups in the Sanctuary before the end of worship.
  • All other Sunday Christian Education classes and groups are on summer break. 
     

Kids & Youth

  • Children's Sunday School, Club 56, Confirmation, Senior High Sunday School, and Sunday Night Youth Group are all on summer break, through September 3.
  • Vacation Bible School for Pre-K - Kindergarten happens June 26 - 29 from 10 am - Noon. CLICK HERE for all the info and for the registration link!
  • Vacation Bible School for 1st - 6th graders happens July 10 - 13 from 6 - 8 pm. CLICK HERE for all the info and for the registration link!
  • Summer Camps are available for all ages, and Chapel Hill is proud to pay 50% of all tuition for summer campers. CLICK HERE to learn more about United Methodist and Christian camping.
  • Kalamazoo Service Project is for incoming 7th graders - Seniors, and happens July 17 - 21. CLICK HERE for all the information!
     

Adults

  • The Upper Room and The Wired Word adult Christian Education classes are on summer break, through September 3.
  • Tuesday night Lectionary Bible Study, led by Pastor Barry, begins June 6, 6:30 - 8 pm. CLICK HERE for all the information and the registration link.
  • Pastor Jess is leading Embodied Faith, an 8-week walking group, beginning Thursday, June 15 from 10 - 11 am. CLICK HERE for all the information.
  • Make A Joyful Noise with the Chancel Choir and the Bell Choir July 31 - August 3, with a performance during worship on August 6. CLICK HERE to learn more!
